Here is the transcript from the third segment of the second hour of The Charlie James Show with guest host Heidi Harris: Heidi Harris: Well, we were talking about Mitch McConnell a moment ago, don't know what condition he's actually in, that some people say, well, there are reports he's brain-dead. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying there are reports of that, depending on who you listen to. What I don't like is the fact that nobody's telling us and if his wife—and we just spoke moments ago to a young lady named Deseree Townsend, who's an independent journalist. She's actually in the hospital where he is being held, where Mitch—Mitch McConnell is right now. Trying to get information, but she did clarify one thing that did not come out in the news, and I'm glad I talked to her. Elaine Chao, apparently, had been in China before Mitch McConnell went to the hospital. She'd been there for a couple of days prior to. I don't care! If my husband went to the hospital and I was in China, I don't know, I'm sure she could bump somebody. I'd be home. I wouldn't be, "Oh, let me go make a visit to the Vice President of China while I'm here." Mhm. I'd be at my husband's bedside, and with, you know, unless there was something else going on. I've no idea. So, we'll just, uh, move on from there, and we'll let you know. We'll keep you updated on it, uh, whenever something pops up. All right, let's talk a little bit about soccer now. I've got to be honest, I'm—don't make fun of me—I'm not a soccer expert. I have watched some soccer games recently. It looks like a fun sport. It's a busy sport, you don't have the breaks that you do in the NFL. I love football, love it, love it. Unapologetically, although every year I say I'm not going to watch it because I get mad at something they do politically, and then I get sucked in because I do love the game. But I don't understand all the things with soccer, and yellow cards, and red cards, and this and that, and offsides, and you see somebody in the middle of the field and they're, "How are they offside when they're in the middle of the field?" I don't claim to understand it, okay, so don't make fun of me. I also don't understand why you can lose and still go ahead in the tournament. Huh? What? They've lost, but they have so many points that—what? Okay. So, forget all that. I did watch the game the other day, and you saw that when Folarin Balogun—or Balogun, I guess that's how it's pronounced, I did look this up, because I'm not a soccer expert—when he got a red card. And a red card not only kicks him out of the game, it means he has to serve a suspension in another game, and ultimately Trump and—well, they—they're saying that Trump didn't call and get things changed. But apparently, they reviewed it, decided that the red card's not going to hold, and he's now going to be able to play in the game against Belgium tonight. I cannot wait. I cannot wait.
