It's time to go to the phones. Let's talk to Richard in Simpsonville. Richard, welcome. How are you? Richard: Fine. I have been a pastor and Christian counselor for 56 years. And I think that Trump is wrong, that the real threat of Iran then and now is not nuclear, but Islam. Because people forget that 9/11 was the equivalent of their day of infamy. That they got the Christian army destroyed in four different years on 9/11. And Bin Laden knew that, and he picked that date, as did Benghazi. And so, it is a religion... you know, Muhammad didn't develop a religion until he decided that why should we fight fellow Arabs when we could join together and form an army and make a war against Jews and Christians. And from... and that's only when... that's when the Muslim faith became a world religion, as they went north to Africa, then Spain, and then to India... uh, Turkey. Charlie James: Yeah. Richard: And I think we're so little theologically versed. We assume that all religions are religion of the light. I mean, if you're a chaplain at a prison today and somebody says they worship Satan, then you've got to bring in a worshiper... uh, somebody that promotes Satanism. Charlie James: Yeah! Exactly. Richard: We don't distinguish... we don't distinguish religions of the light and religions of the darkness. And, you know, the church... my big beef with the churches is the liberal church is... worships the great mother and is... and feminism. But the conservative churches does the same more subtly in that it worships the created mother as mammon. And, uh, we're in a dire straits, and it's theological. Charlie James: Yeah, you're right about that, Richard. I appreciate it. Let's go to Ben in Powdersville. Ben, welcome. Ben: Hey, Ben... Charlie James: Yes sir, what's up? Ben: Hey, listen, I'll be quick. Um... You need... people need to think about 9/11 when they vote in November. And you think about looking at someone like Mamdani and laughing it up today. You need to think... people need to seriously think... Charlie James: Yeah. Ben: ...about 9/11 when you go to the... go to the polls. I know a lot of people have called in, I've been listening. Charlie James: Yeah. Ben: And they're upset, and they don't want to vote. They don't want to vote for Lindsay Graham or whatever. They don't want to... they just don't want to do it. But you need to think... these people need to think about... think about this. You know, and I understand, I voted for Ross Perot, but I've got five grandchildren, and I'm not voting for me anymore, I'm voting for them. Charlie James: There you go.
