Transcript Charlie James: All right, let's go to the phones. We're talking to Barbara in Greenville. How you doing, Barbara? Barbara: Hi. Excuse me, hi. I just voted at McAlister Square in Greenville County. Charlie James: Right. Barbara: And care to guess how many people have voted—and this includes Tuesday, Wednesday, or Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday? Charlie James: Um, go ahead. How many? Barbara: 6,000. Charlie James: 6,000! Let me just see if that kind of jives. Well, yeah, yeah, that would be about right. Yeah, I would imagine. Now, Monday they had 2,228. Yesterday they had 2,159. So, they're going about another 1,500 today. That's pretty good! Barbara: Yeah, it's a—there's a nice, not a line, but, you know, a constant people going in. Also, there was an exit poll, and the four choices were MAGA, Republican, Democrat, and actually, I don't know the last one. So, I picked MAGA. Charlie James: Probably Independent. Probably Independent. Well, good for you! Good for you. Yeah, good for you. I hope a lot of people put MAGA down. I didn't participate in it. My wife did, though. I didn't even ask her about that. But hey, Barbara, thank you so much for getting out there and voting today. We appreciate it. Barbara: Yes, and I voted for Ralph Norman. Charlie James: There you go. All right, thank you, thank you, thank you. So, yeah, I mean, that's the way I would describe it. There wasn't a line at McAlister Square. But if you guys are there right now, because we've only got 33 minutes left to early vote, then it's done for this. And then anything after 5:00, you're going to have to wait until Tuesday. If you have just left McAlister Square or any of your voting places, give us a call, give me a text, let me know how everything's going. I want to go to Shelley in Greenville. How you doing, Shelley? Shelley: I'm doing good, thank you. I just wanted to let you know about my experience at McAlister Square today. Charlie James: Okay. Shelley: I happened to have on a shirt that if you scan it, it says on the back that "Trump is my president." And as I was in line, the lady looked at me, and the woman next to her registering people was like, "Oh, she can't vote with her shirt on." They made me go in the bathroom and turn my clothes inside out. Charlie James: So was it like a QR code or something on the back? Shelley: Yes, it is. It is. And it says Trump on the front right or front left pocket. Charlie James: Oh, yeah. Yeah. Well, see, that's the thing, though: Trump's not on the ballot! Shelley: That's what I said! I said, "Man, are you serious? He is the president right now in office." They were like, "I'm sorry, but for you to be here, you have to take it..." They made me look like a retard in public. Charlie James: I don't think that was right. I don't think that was right. That was not campaign material. Shelley: I felt so segregated, and it was so embarrassing to look like an idiot in public. Charlie James: I'll bet. I'll bet. I would have been mad, too. Shelley, I'm sorry that happened to you. Thanks for calling in, though. I will be right back.
