We were just talking moments ago with Representative Timmons, and we were talking about how we don't even have to worry about a communist takeover in America—we're voting these people in. I mean, that's where we are now. How are you, Luther? Welcome to the Charlie James Show. Luther: Hey, Heidi. So, I want to get your opinion on my thoughts, but I'm not as concerned about this takeover because, in the past, whenever communism was tried, it was a captive population. Whereas now, these people in these cities are not captive. They can move, the businesses can move, and you see that going on right now. So, they can try these policies, but their influence is going to drop because as people move out, as businesses move out, their tax base goes away. This communism just doesn't go as far as it would if the population was captive. People are much more mobile now, so it's kind of how this is going to... Heidi Harris: Right, but here's the problem, Luther. I know what you're saying. No, you're right about what you're saying, that people leave. Here's what I would say, and you know this, I don't need to tell the Upstate about this: you've got people moving in from blue states who want to turn your state into a blue state. They've done it in my state, and that's a big problem. And these people do—remember, these socialists do get voted in by people who then leave the state because they're too stupid to understand cause and effect. What we need is—remember that fence they had in Blazing Saddles where they put the gate across, you know, to keep these people out? No, I'm not kidding about this. That's what happens. They vote people in who are idiots, then they don't like the fact that taxes are too high, then they move to a red state. They move to South Carolina, they move to Texas, they move to another state where it's red—Florida—then they try to turn it into what they left, and they try to vote for the same policies. I've seen it again and again and again, and that's what's so awful about it. Luther: Well, you just can't fix stupid, I suppose, right? Heidi Harris: You can't. You cannot, my friend. But thanks for the call, I appreciate it. Yeah, that's a problem. They don't understand. And I'm in Nevada, you guys may know. It's not Ne-vah-da, it's Ne-vad-a. And the Californians have just—and between the Californians and the people from Washington State, it's terrible. I don't hate Californians, but a lot of the ones who don't even understand cause and effect move. They flee because they can't afford the high taxes. Let me give you another quick example. This has been happening in places like Idaho. You think of Idaho as being a red state, right? I mean, not many states are red when you think about who's running them, but a lot of the main parts of the states are. But in Idaho, you've got people moving up to Idaho who are, let's say for example, California firefighters, California cops. They retire, they move to Idaho, they run for office, and they try to vote in—and this is actually happening, you can check this—they try to vote in the same pensions for their buddies up in Idaho that they get in California. The pensions that are bankrupting California! This is what happens. They don't understand that the reason they had to leave California was because of the fat pensions they were getting. Now they want to vote them into Idaho and hurt the people of Idaho. That's the problem. It's terrible. They don't get it. They really don't.
