Full Transcript Charlie James: Well, tomorrow and Friday are going to be a couple of uh pretty difficult days for us, because we are going to be commemorating two tragic events uh that happened in this country. Coming up tomorrow will be the first anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Um, uh we're going to be talking with some folks from Hillsdale College, we all know how closely aligned Charlie Kirk was uh with the folks at Hillsdale. We'll talk about his impact that he had um uh and and his learning experience at Hillsdale, I'm really looking forward to that. We're also going to be talking with some folks from Turning Point USA about how their lives have changed after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, uh the future of Turning Point USA, and exactly where we go from here. It's—it's—it's going to be a day that, good gracious, it will bring back the memories of that day. The day that we were all sitting with anticipation after we heard that Charlie Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University, and then uh of course, we all finding out about his um his passing away. Then on Friday, will be the 25th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center, the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, that literally shocked the planet. That is—I I will promise you, if you were alive when that happened, you remember exactly where you were when you got the news. You remember that. I remember that as if it happened only yesterday. The—the one strange thing, and I know in New York City the skies that day were just absolutely crystal clear. It was the same thing—I was in Columbia at the time—same thing in Columbia. Just bright blue skies. And how eerie it was when all of that airplane traffic stopped for so long. Going to bring back some memories coming up tomorrow and on Friday. Um, it's going to be—I mean, it's going to be kind of tough. But we—these are the things that we go through, and we go through these things together. That's why I love being on the radio with you guys, because we get to share this stuff, the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. And it means the world to me that I can sit here and share times like those with you, even the bad times, because I want us all to get through those things together.
