Full Transcript Heidi Harris: Good evening! Always a privilege sitting in. Charlie returns tomorrow. We're talking about 9/11, where were you on that day—everybody remembers that day. Texter: "I ran a register at the Hartwell from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on 9/11, only heard about the airplanes hitting the Trade Center and the Pentagon. When I heard about the planes crashing in Pennsylvania, I somehow knew the passengers crashed it to spare the Capitol building." Yeah, I mean, we... terrible. If you ever get a chance to go to the Pentagon Memorial—I happened to be in Washington, D.C. years ago when they opened that. Just, I was there for business, and it just happened to be the day that they opened the Pentagon Memorial—and it's amazing to see. The way it's designed—I'll try to explain this as best I can—the way it's designed, they have these benches, kind of a bench that doesn't have a back on it, just like something you'd sit on, like, you know, on a bench, kind of bench you sit on to try on shoes, just a flat thing, right? You know, that has one end on it, or obviously has two ends to hold it up. But what, what, the way it's designed is they have these benches, and if you're looking at the Pentagon, on the bench is the name of the person who was killed in the Pentagon. If you are standing at the Pentagon and looking out toward the benches, you will see the name of somebody who was on Flight 77. Very, very well done, if you ever get a chance. Worth checking out. Heidi Harris: Well, well, thank you! Michael: Well, luckily you have the very competent and talented Ryan Recker, who normally takes the bullet for me! (laughs) Michael: Second, for, for, for all of your listening audience who have flagpoles in their front yards or on their front porches, on 9/11, flags are flown at half-staff from, from dawn to dusk. So, any businesses or whatnot can do that. And for those who are interested to know when flags should be flown at half-mast, you can internet search that. And you can sign up at several veteran websites and others, and you'll get emails that'll tell you. The last time flags were flown at half-staff was an executive order from President Trump for Dolly Parton's passing. Heidi Harris: Okay, well, that's good to know. Michael: Yeah, I don't know if—and WORD could, a day beforehand, help put that word out, too. Heidi Harris: Okay, well, good. That's great. Well, great to talk to you, and thank you for the information. I appreciate it. It's a very solemn week, should be—should be for everybody, no question about it. Not that I need to not talk about it again, but I'm just saying that was very—it was happening that day, and the trial was went into a mistrial ultimately on that day, so... spent a lot of time on it 'cause there's a lot to discuss.
