Transcript Charlie James: All right, welcome back to the program. Let's go to Mark from Taylors. How you doing, Mark? Mark: All right, Charlie. Yeah, Donna and I are doing good. I'm just walking in while I walk into Josie's Chuckwagon for dinner. Charlie James: All right. Yeah, good, good. What's up? Mark: Well, we—we talked to many of our MAGA Trump fan—fans, with friends, and they have the same reason why they're voting for Darlene. You know, he's had—he's had his time, he's got this, you know, dominance, and why should we put him back in again? It's—it's the same garbage, and I say, "Well, what—what has he done wrong?" You got—and they can't give a reason. It's just like Democrats, they can't give a reason why they hate Trump, and they just say, "Oh, we're going to go with her cause she's new." You know, all this garbage— Charlie James: Oh, she's new. Yeah. New isn't—uh yeah, and let me tell you something though, Mark. She is so new, nobody knows anything about her. If you'll—if you'll just hang around, listen on the radio, I'm going to give you something coming up in just a second. It's going to shock you. It's going to shock you, I promise you. Uh, let's go to Bob in Greer. Bob, welcome. Bob: Yeah, hi Charlie. Thanks for taking my call. Charlie James: Sure. Bob: I'll just make a couple of quick points and uh get off so you can comment and get other callers. But, um, if I were Ralph Norman, as a result of last night's debate, I would run two ads incessantly, uh for the rest of the campaign: one where she talks about how she has no knowledge of foreign policy— Charlie James: Right. Bob: —and the other where he answers her where she tries to equate the contributions she gets from out-of-state Democratic PACs to his uh contributions where he gets in-state Republican PACs to support him. I—I would emphasize that uh incessantly until—until the primary's over. And also, I just want to make the point, I'm very disappointed in President Trump. Um, yeah, I voted for him all three times he won, and he—he did win all three times. Charlie James: Yeah. Right. Bob: Um, but uh he—when he's—when he's endorsed people in South Carolina, he's—he's picked the wrong people. Charlie James: I agree. Bob: So, yeah, I uh just wish he would stop—just be quiet about it. His—his only out now is—and I don't know, he probably won't take it, is he could say, "I was wrong, I'll endorse Ralph Norman," or at least uh do what he did with the Alan Wilson / Pam Evette uh race. Charlie James: Yeah. Yeah, I—yeah, I mean, that—that would be a wise thing to do. I appreciate it, Bob. Okay. So, here we got Darlene Graham all of a sudden, for some reason, big pro-life advocate, right? Big pro-life advocate. In fact, and this is from Representative John McCravy, and it's a story that I just told you about just a few minutes ago. He says: "Every pro-life group in South Carolina and America has given Congressman Ralph Norman a 100% rating based on his impeccable voting record for the unborn. Palmetto Family Council and Pro-Life SC also endorsed Ralph Norman for these very reasons. These 100% pro-life ratings include National Right to Life and affiliated—affiliated SC Citizens for Life. Yet, the last two organizations just endorsed Darlene Graham, Darlene Graham-Nardone. Why? You heard that correctly. Ms. Graham-Nardone has no voting record, is supported by Democrat PACs and pro-choice Democrats like US Representative Jim Clyburn. She has also been criticized for supporting pro-choice Republican former South Carolina Senator, who was praised by the New York Times and received national recognition for voting against the heartbeat bill. Nardone claims to be pro-life, but is yet to articulate what her pro-life position actually means. If Citizens for Life had simultaneously endorsed Norman, I might have been able to swallow it.
