Transcript Charlie James: All right, welcome back to the program. Let's go to Bob in Anderson. How's everything in Anderson, Bob? Bob: Uh, it's pretty good there, Charlie. How you doing this afternoon? Charlie James: I'm doing really good. What's going on? Bob: I'll try to make this real quick. You know, before, uh, Mr. Lindsey, uh, passed away, um, all the talk was about getting rid of him. Charlie James: Yeah. Bob: Um, then since he's passed away, it, you know, that seemed to went to the wayside. And then Darlene came into the mix, and we—we don't really know who—who exactly was controlling Lindsey that made us have such ill feelings towards him. Um, and now that Darlene's in there, we don't really know who's going to be controlling her. Charlie James: Huh. Bob: And that's, uh—that's what I—I have a little bit of concern about: the, uh—the aides that—that Charlie—or that, uh, Lindsey had. Um, is she a double-head—a double-edged sword, a two-headed coin? Charlie James: That I don't know. I mean, that's—that literally, with somebody with—with no experience like this... I mean, just like people had to do with Donald Trump, you had to roll the dice. Bob: Right. Charlie James: And—and hope you were getting the right guy. We gotta hope we're getting the right person in—in—in that seat, you know? Bob: Right. And we just haven't had—we haven't had long enough time to assess her. Charlie James: Yeah, I mean, good gracious. We had the funeral, she announced, and now we're—I mean, here we are in—in early voting already going on. Bob: Right. Charlie James: Yeah, it's been no time at all and not enough questions answered. I appreciate it, Bob. You're exactly right. So, early voting is going on. Um, well, not now. It'll open back up tomorrow morning at 8:30. Tomorrow and Friday, early voting, 8:30 to 5:00. That's 8:30 to 5:00 tomorrow and Friday. And then, of course, we've got the, uh, the primary coming up on the—on Tuesday, and those polls will be 7:00 to 7:00. Now, the place that you vote for early voting is more than likely going to be different from the place that you vote on Tuesday. So, go to scvotes.gov—and yes, they—they have made some mistakes on there, but go to scvotes.gov to find out where your polling place is going to be on Tuesday if you do not get a chance to early vote. But we got a lot of other things going on and some very serious things going on around this country. I want you to listen to this story. This is going to—oh, this makes me so mad. News Clip Reporter: ...in the region as the Middle East waits to see if a deal will be reached or will see a return to war. News Clip Anchor: So—so, Trey, real quickly, the President talked about the military operation that was leaked over the weekend. Um, it's obviously—they need to figure out who's leaking from the White House. That has to be someone high within government that put that out there to sources. It's our job as—as the press to cover that. But I'm curious from your perspective and your sources on the—the state of play that leak played out in the Middle East and who then phoned the White House to get to the negotiating table. News Clip Trey: It's a great question, because these leaks can be substantial, and when you're looking at a situation with 50,000 US service members, destroyers, refuelers, fighter jets across the region, the operational security is very significant whenever there are plans being made to strike Iran. And the President indicated he called off the planned strikes at the request not only of Iran, but also of Gulf allies like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. What was interesting, though, Lawrence, we spoke with senior Israeli intelligence officials over the weekend who said they weren't even aware of the details of the plan. And that's how close the administration was holding these details to the chest because of how sensitive it is in the region. And so...
