Don: Dare I say it, Josh Stein has done more for Western North Carolina than... than Roy Cooper. Charlie James: And that's not a lot. Don: Yes. We don't need him. And I have no skin in the game, but just from what I have gathered knowledge-wise, uh... I really think you folks down in South Carolina should... should vote for Ralph Norman. I'm a big fan of his. Charlie James: Yeah. Don: Uh, just from what I read. That's all. And uh, and Anthony Fauci, one word: really. Charlie James: [laughter] Yeah. Exactly. You might get a drop, let on ya. You're right, Don. I appreciate it. Thank you very much. Let's stay in North Carolina for just a second. Let's go back to June of 2024, when a bunch of customers for Tractor Supply Company started realizing something that this... this company, this store that they loved so much, had gone woke. They were seeing it right there before their eyes. They were supporting pride parades. They were uh... they were... they were supporting all of this LGBTQ nonsense. What is this? Is it LG... Is it LGBTQ? What... what is it these days? I'm... I'm sorry. Re- remind me again, what's it called? Automated Voice: M-M-I-W-G-2-S-L-G-B-T-Q-Q-I-A-Plus. Charlie James: Yeah, that... that community. They're all about DEI. So, Tractor Supply Company had to come out with a statement June 27th of 2024: "Going forward, we will ensure our activities and giving tie directly to our business. For instance, this means we will no longer submit data to the Human Rights Campaign, will refocus our team member engagement groups on mentoring, networking, blah, blah, blah, further focus on rural American priorities including ag education, animal welfare, veterans causes, and being a good neighbor, and stop sponsoring non-business activities like pride festivals and voting campaigns, eliminate DEI roles and retire our current DEI roles, withdraw our carbon emission goals, and focus on our land and water conservation efforts." So they had to eat a little crow there at Tractor Supply Company. Well, fast forward a little over two years later... Have they lived up to that commitment? Up in Spring... the Spring Lake area near Fayetteville, North Carolina, there's a guy named Jeff Hartman. Jeff Hartman owns All-American Hot Dogs and Catering. Jeff Hartman took his cart, with permission from the local store manager at Tractor Supply, and he set his cart out... outside the store there near Fayetteville, North Carolina. Again, with permission of the store manager. Now, back on July 10th, he posted that he would be serving there that weekend, and he thanked the local manager by name for offering the spot. He even went in and fed Tractor Supply workers for free—free hot dogs! And this wasn't the first time he'd done that. However, Hartman, the owner of All-American Hot Dogs, who was wearing a MAGA hat at the time, was informed by a regional manager that he was banned from all Tractor Supply properties because of his support for Trump and the patriotic branding of his business. Banned from Tractor Supply. Had permission, wasn't there doing anything illegal, was feeding the employees... All-American Hot Dog stand, wearing a MAGA hat, and this regional manager banned him from all the properties. And guess what? It has been how many days now? How many days? This happened... yeah, oh this happened what, a couple days ago. Still no response from Tractor Supply Company. No apology, no "Oh my goodness, we've made a huge mistake," nothing like... they have ...
