Jazz meets Jungle/Drum and Bass as this piece "unwinds" against the oceans depths amid both modeled and sampled drum kits namely FPC and the amazing Modo Drum. For the "real" drum aspect I turned to my "Deep Ocean" kit that is an expansion of IKMMs "Jazzy Drums" kit. Modo's "Play style" which letrs me assign not only veloctiry weighting to the snare. toms and kick but I can choose type of stick and left right stick placeement on the Drum head/Cymbal. The track title comes from not only the subject of the story(a hammerhead shark) but also the massive attack and mood of the drums as well as the "raw" natural of Modo Drums In some ways, I would say this track is the Drum equivelent of "Deep Fish"
