Haaaave You Met Doug?

This week we are joined by the Fearless Mensch himself, Doug Shapiro. Doug and James talk about everything from how they met, to how they deal with challenges in their lives, and even how they deal with the moments that don’t go the way they want. Doug Shapiro is the Fearless Mensch, guiding values of love and integrity. He leads with kindness. What Tom Hanks said in accepting his Cecil B. DeMille award at the 2020 Golden Globes resonated strongly with Doug: "Show up on time, know your lines, and then go there with a head full of ideas." He always strives to bring to what we’ll create together. Voicing your cartoon, singing your musical, role-playing with your executives, narrating your audiobook, all of it. ​His career has found him, for the most part, playing several characters at a time with only a week of rehearsal. He has voiced several characters for Disney's FINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL, toured the nation as the MC & principal vocalist for a 15-piece 1940's big band, played most of Shakespeare's women in less than 90 minutes. He's been a proud acting company member with The Barnstormers in Tamworth, NH for over 20 years. He also enjoys some other exciting roles which include Worldwide Business Role-Play which is about empowering executives and future medical professionals to be effective communicators. Industry-Leading Voice Over where he voiced a bird and a bard in the same audio adaptation of a novel.​ No Love is Off-Limits where he is officiating weddings across the gender spectrum, from first love to fifth marriage.
