Habakkuk

Evil can make God seem absent, especially when injustice grows and His answer makes suffering look worse. The prophet Habakkuk speaks to God with anguished honesty, yet he never treats walking away as an option. He waits because God's wisdom lies far beyond human understanding. The cross gives that trust firm ground: God ordained the greatest injustice, as Jesus bore sin to bring salvation through judgement.
