It’s takeover day here at Voices, and today we’re handing the airwaves over to Habibti Nation for a full day of programming from 11am–11pm. Across the next 12 hours, the collective will spotlight the breadth and vitality of sounds from the SWANA South West Asia and North Africa and Arab world, platforming the work of femxle, non-binary and trans artists shaping today’s electronic scene. Opening the takeover is Habibti Nation founder Luma, setting the tone through sounds from West Asia and North Africa and their influence across the global electronic scene. Expect exclusive tracks, unreleased material and sample-led explorations that trace the threads connecting cultures, dancefloors and diasporas.
