In an information age, our bias is to make our spiritual pursuits about what we know or about the exchange of ideas. We don't pursue relationships primarily through information, and we can't treat our relationship with God any differently. If anything besides knowing God becomes the focus of our spiritual habits, we miss out on the true purpose of our lives.
