Una abuela y un tío suyo fallecieron por adenocarcinoma de colon. Esto no el impidió seguir practicando deporte, que descubrió que le venía muy bien para encontrar la paz mental que necesitaba y lo más importante generar una sensación parecida al hambre ( sensación que al no tener estomago no puede tener ) convirtiéndose en corredor de ultra distancia
