TOFAŞ tarafından 12 Şubat 1971’de üretimine başlanan, adını Bursa’nın Osmanlı’ya başkentlik yaptığı dönemdeki padişahı Sultan 1. Murat’tan alan "Murat 124", aradan geçen onca yıla rağmen vatandaşların ilgi odağı olmaya devam ediyor. "Hacı Murat" olarak bilinen otomobilin üretilen ilk örneği ise sergilendiği TOFAŞ Bursa Anadolu Arabaları Müzesi’nde ilgi görüyor.
