HACKSAW RIDGE (2016) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Andrew Garfield | Vince Vaughn

Brandon and Alli react to Hacksaw Ridge, the powerful true story of Desmond Doss, a devout Christian combat medic who refuses to carry a weapon into battle during World War II. Despite ridicule, hostility, and threats of court-martial for his beliefs, Doss heads into the brutal Battle of Okinawa unarmed—and ultimately becomes the first conscientious objector to earn the Medal of Honor by single-handedly saving 75 men under relentless enemy fire. Directed by Mel Gibson (Braveheart, Apocalypto, The Passion of the Christ) and written by Robert Schenkkan and Andrew Knight, the film stars Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Social Network, tick, tick... BOOM!) as Desmond Doss, alongside Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans), Luke Bracey (Point Break, Point Break), Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies, The Sorcerer's Apprentice), Hugo Weaving (The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings, V for Vendetta), Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under, Brothers & Sisters), and Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers, Swingers, True Detective). Watch as Brandon and Alli witness the harrowing combat sequences, deep faith-driven courage, and true heroism behind one of the most inspiring stories to come out of World War II. We've got merch!
