"I am with you" declares the Lord (1:13) 3. The new temple to be filled with greater Glory (2:1-9) 4. A defiled people purified and blessed (2:10-19) 5. Zerubbabel type of the future Messiah who will overthrow foreign Kingdoms and rule - God's chosen one - His signet ring - sign of His authority.
