Haggai: Rebuilding the Temple in a Land that Has Forgotten God

Jon Burns, our Youth Ministry Leader, shared a message on Sunday that encouraged us to move our focus in life from self to God and His Kingdom. Just as the children of Israel were commissioned to occupy Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple of God after 70 years of Babylonian captivity, so are we commissioned to occupy and build the Temple of the Holy Spirit (the Church) after being freed from the captivity of sin.
