Hāl 001

Hâl is a series of transformative DJ sets by Rasham, created around the idea that music can shift the way we feel, move, and experience a moment. Inspired by ḥāl a word associated with a temporary inner state, a condition of being that arises through experience each set is conceived as a journey rather than simply a selection of tracks. There is no fixed time, mood, or destination. Hâl can unfold in daylight or after dark, moving through organic rhythms, hypnotic grooves, ancestral textures, electronic landscapes, and moments of stillness and release. Each session begins in one place and gradually becomes another. A transition between energy and introspection, movement and presence, the familiar and the unknown.
