Haley: “ I Will Not Quit!” Why She’s Hanging in the Race Despite Consistently Polling Behind Trump

The polls are not on Nikki Haley’s side. Though Donald Trump has called on her to step aside, Haley is reaffirming her commitment to stay in the presidential race past the primary in her home state this weekend. At a last minute press conference Tuesday, Haley said, “ I refuse to quit,” She also spoke directly about Trump, “many of the same politicians who now publicly embrace Trump, privately dread him. They know what a disaster he’s been and will continue to be for our party. They’re just too afraid to say it out loud. Well, I’m not afraid to say the hard truth out loud.
