Half-Torah/הַפְטָרָה - Bo: Lesson of the Locusts (Yirmiyah 46:13-28) 🦗🦗

This prophecy against Egypt pays a shout-out to the locusts, the very first plague in Parshas Bo. That couldn't be a coincidence. But, is it just a shout-out? And why did Bo begin with plague #8 anyway? Was THAT a coincidence? Why not split the plagues more evenly, or at least keep the final set together and begin with plague #7? Why was Arbeh even necessary? Why didn't Hashem wipe out ALL of the crops during Barad?
