Hall Mills Murders (aka It's a Pig Woman's World and We're Just Livin' In It) - Episode 4

from Middle-Aged and Mediocre · host Middle-Aged and Mediocre

In 1922... EVERYONE WAS MURDERED IN THE 20s!... a 15-year old girl and her 23-year old boyfriend... because again, the 20s were just a shitshow.... stumbled onto the dead bodies of Reverend Edward Hall and his "secret" lover Eleanor Mills. The investigation that followed was a total mess from the start, and the murders became front page news until Charles Lindbergh's son was kidnapped and publications like the New York Daily Mirror moved onto their next story. While everyone seemed to have a theory and everyone was both a witness and potential suspect, it was the wife of Reverend Hall and the husband of Eleanor Mills who drew much of the attention of all those looking for the murderers.  This story goes all over the place and at many times it's confusing as to who is a suspect, who is an investigator, and who is a witness, but hang with us while we work our way through this sordid tale and try to solve the case of the Hall-Mills Murders!
