Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982)

The third in the Halloween series has no Michael Myers, he died in number 2, but John Carpenter is still in the producer role and he has plenty of influence over the style and tone of this much-maligned installment. He's also on soundtrack duty. We laugh a lot at this plot and some of the things that happen but agree it deserves more love than it gets. There's also some nostalgic halloween chat and other daft stuff along the way, as well as music from Ectoplague, a Nottingham-based dark synth producer who specialises in the kind of music John Carpenter pioneered.
