Halloween & Blackface: What's the Big Deal?

HALLOWEEN is around the corner and the BLACKFACE-wearing-costume saga continues... Recently an elementary school teacher in ALABAMA apologized for dressing up as KANYE WEST in BLACKFACE. The school distict accepted an apology from the teacher and stated no further action will be taken for his error in judgment.  Is the apology enough?  Are WHITES making a mockery of AFRICAN-AMERICANS or is this harmless fun, propogated by the fact Whites are unaware of the history of BLACKFACE?   BLACK SOCRATES, and co-host, CHRISTY GAYNELL, ask the questions America's afraid ask every SATURDAY on the MENTAL DIALOGUE talk show.  Also every Saturday the MONEY & POWER 15  (11:00-11:15am) takes place as we bring on an entrepreneur or a financial professional to discuss economic empowerment in our community.
