Written By… well that’s complicated.  The original script was written by Nigel Kneale (uncredited) based on a pitch by Debra Hill.  John Carpenter re-wrote it (uncredited) and Tommy Lee Wallace re-wrote the Carpenter version and has sole on-screen credit. Starring Tom Atkins as Dr Dan Challis, Stacy Nelkin as Ellie Grimbridge and Dan O'Herlihy as Conal Cochran. Watch the trailer here.
