Send a text It’s “Spooky Season” and we’re back! The Halloween holiday has its roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (SAH-win), a pagan religious celebration. It's hugely popular in America and Canada, but its popularity in Japan has grown steadily over the past few decades. From the festivals, parades and zombie chases at Tokyo Disneyland and  Universal Studios Japan, to children's Halloween parades and trains filled with drunken foreigners, Japan puts its own unique twist on the event.
