Halloween Puppet Play is a short story set on a moonlit hill where a Showman presents an eerie cast of puppets — a Witch, a Cat, a Jack-o'-Lantern, and a Brownie — on Halloween night. The Witch grows increasingly frustrated as she demands to know the true meaning of the holiday, only to receive evasive answers.
