Halloween Spirit is a short story for children following a tall, majestic figure in an orange-and-black gown who awakens each October to lead her enchanted kingdom's celebrations. Fearing she has been forgotten, she is soon surrounded by witches, goblins, ghosts, black cats, pumpkin-headed children, and a Story-Teller bearing harvest tales.
