Hamden Catholic Homily: June 21, 2026

from Hamden Catholic · host St. Paul VI Hamden

In today's Gospel, Jesus speaks words we all need to hear - "Do not be afraid." Not once, but three times because He knows how often we need reminding. Whatever fear you're carrying today about your past, your future, your struggles, or your worth, know that you are deeply known, deeply loved, and never alone. You are more than your mistakes. More than your fears. More than what the world sees. God knows every tear, every silent prayer, every burden you've carried alone. He even knows the number of hairs on your head - that's how deeply you are known. Whatever you're holding onto today, bring it to Him. He is not judging you. He is with you.
