Hampton Roads Pride: Love Unites

PrideFest turns 28 this June for Hampton Roads Pride, the local non-profit, LGBT organization whose mission is to unite the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and allied communities in support of inclusion, dignity and equality of all people. Hampton Roads Pride's annual celebration held at Town Point Park is the city's largest one-day celebration and this year's theme is Love Unites. How did organizers select that theme? What major strides has it seen for the LGBT community in our region? We'll talk with festival organizers and board members on today's program about the festival coming up on June 18, 2016.
