Hands off Congo Basin

In this episode we interviewed Maurice of Congo Friends regarding the attack on the Congo Basin by imperialist forces. Environmental issues have been weaponized by western entities as part of a green capitalist agenda that seeks to extract more resources from the global south. The DRC has been a primary target of this campaign. Maurice discusses how a true environmentalist approach requires the sovereignty of African people over their own resources and land. This interview highlights how crucial Pan-Africanism is to environmental preservation. Please follow and support Congo Friends, you can find them on instagram @congofriends.
