Hannah, a Godly Example (1Sam 1.1-20) - 5-8-22

Scripture Texts are 1Samuel 1.1-20 and Ephesians 6.1-3 from the subject, “Hannah, a Godly Example.”The story of Hannah is a great epic for us. We can glean much learning as we see her move from victimization to victory… as we see her move from being a victimized woman to a victorious mother. What can we learn from Hannah as it relates to being a godly mother? •The 1st thing that we can glean is that when she was provoked by her rival, she took it to the Lord. Take your burdens to the LORD! (vv6-10)•The 2nd thing that we can gather from Hannah is to pray sincerely and fervently regardless who’s watching! (vv12-15)•The 3rd and final lesson that I’ll share today from Hannah is keep your commitment and leave a legacy! (vv11, 27-28)Happy Mother’s Day. Embrace and receive Jesus the Christ as LORD and Savior of your life today. This is a great way to honor your mother. Amen.
