Hannah Stuelke Heads to Italy

Hannah Stuelke, Iowa’s standout scorer and rebounder, is heading overseas to play pro basketball in Italy with Broni of Serie A1—just the latest in a wave of Hawkeyes rising to global stages. In four stellar seasons, she racked up 136 games, averaging 11.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists, peaking at 14 PPG in 2023-24 during Iowa’s Final Four run. A two-time Second-Team All-Big Ten honoree and Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year as a freshman, she also shattered program records with a 47-point explosion against Penn State in 2024. Named Iowa Miss Basketball in 2022, she helped Iowa reach the NCAA Tournament every year and two Final Fours. Her journey underscores the growing global impact of Iowa women’s basketball.
