It flowed into the cracks of the snake statue, filling it. The chips in the statue repaired itself, and its black eyes shone red as a blood moon in the dark kitchen. The stone figure shifted, and went from long and lithe, sprawling across the mantle is a gentle s curve, to curled up head risen, as if ready to strike. The man felt it; the power radiating from the statue and into him in a burst of warmth, unfurling in his gut, permeating through his whole body as something new slotted into place. *** Will is finally out from the BSHCI. Just as he feels like he’s regained some control over his life, his headaches come back with a vengeance. Along with them come strange, intrusive thoughts that feel like they don’t belong to him, and vivid dreams of someone else’s life. Hannibal has done something drastic to keep Will under his control, to keep the two of them conjoined. But what Hannibal has done will wind the two of them so close together, they start losing their sense of self. They are beginning to blur, and Hannibal refuses to stop the cruel spell he’s cast.
