Hans of Iceland Chapter I

In which the sombre and harsh realities of life and death entangle themselves in a grim conversation among the fisherfolk and townspeople gathered within the bleak confines of a charnel-house by the port of Throndhjem, as tales of love, loss, and mysterious demise weave a tapestry of sorrow and suspicion.
