Dear friends, a very happy and holy Christmas to you! We join Br Michael Moore OMI on the Feast of the Nativity of the Lord for today's daily reflection and moment to pause. Thursday 25th  December Luke 2-14 The Nativity: In the town of David a saviour has been born. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Good morning and welcome. Thank you for joining us for our morning prayer with the Oblate Family. Jesus was born in poverty to a homeless couple. Their first visitors were shepherds who were poor like them. God broke into the world in a very ordinary and quiet way. These days as we celebrate with friends and families, let us each take a little time to think about how God breaks into each of our own daily lives. It might also be in the simple, hidden and quiet ways that we experience God. A hand offered in peace and forgiveness, a smile offered in gratitude or the delight and wonder in a child’s face. If as the poet say, God is in the bits and pieces of the everyday, then God just be sitting at our table with us these days.  Our Father.. Lord, we thank you for the gift of Jesus who makes his home among and within us. Guide and protect us during these of joy, happiness and celebration. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Thank you for being with us this today for our morning prayer. #christmas #prayer #faith #jesus #saviour
