Happy Earth Day

from Horse Hippie’s Morning Mantras · host Horse Hippie

Morning Mantra: "The Earth is what we have in common."This quote by Wendell Berry seems very appropriate on this Earth Day when we seem as a species to be so far apart from each other. So apart in what we value. When I began my company, Horse Hippie, I knew I wanted the brand to reflect what mattered to me as a life long Equestrian, as an environmental scientist, and as a peace loving hippie.I struggle at times to stay in the lane of love for others when I see the devastation that is happening to our planet and when I watch how we treat each other will callous disregard.I want to scream from the rooftops that there is no planet B! That this is it. This big blue dot deserves our respect, that every species on this planet should be thought of with every move we make. For the Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth. If we build a society based on honoring the Earth, we build a society which is sustainable, and has the capacity to support all life forms. We ARE the environment and how we treat each other is really how we treat the environment.I believe we have lost touch with nature, with the goodness in each other, and our treatment of the Earth and our behavior towards our fellow human is a reflection of that.So on this beautiful Earth Day, spend some time in nature. Get back to yourself. Get back to the connection you have to every living thing. Walk barefoot in the grass.  Sit and listen to the birds sing.  Feel the breeze on your face. Ground yourself with the calming energy of our big, beautiful mother.  And do something good for her.#BeKindToOurMother  #BeHappy #BeHorsey #BeHippie #HorseHippie #MorningMantra #WordsToInspire #InspirationalQuotes #HorseHippieBoutique #SmallBusinessOwner #WomenOwned #HorseHippieBoutique
