We're just days away from Fourth of July celebrations in Greenwich, Connecticut!You'll hear about how the people of Greenwich celebrated America's independence in 1925 and in 1926 -at the time marking the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. On July 4, 1925, King George V of the United Kingdom, the British Dominions and Emperor of India sent his regards to Greenwich resident and industrialist Charles A. Moore via Prime Minister Baldwin his regards on the occasion of the Round Hill Highland Games. A "House of Wheels" that had been on a worldwide tour passed through Greenwich on its way to Texas. The last will and testament of James. M. Reid caught everyone's attention -including some family members in Greenwich. An unnamed prominent Greenwich resident and his family were returning from a road trip when the driver tried to outrun a motorcycle cop outside White Plains, New York.
