Happy Halloween 🎃: Our best-of-the-rest deep dive highlights dozens of standout teams and Cinderella candidates from mid-major conferences

We're wrapping our conference-preview portion of the preseason with a wide scan of all the best teams from outside the seven major conferences. Obviously, Gonzaga is the big (bull)dog, but there are two other preseason top 25-level teams worth knowing about: San Diego State and Dayton. Norlander and Parrish go well beyond those three, though, highlighting the teams with viable at-large hopes and laying out nearly 20 other mid-majors poised to have good seasons in '22-23. The bonus: we've got a this-or-that Halloween candy-themed segment to wrap today's episode.Read Norlander's Best of the Rest preview here. This episode is sponsored by BetterHelp, for more information click here»Eye on College Basketball is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Castbox and wherever else you listen to podcasts. »Follow our team: @EyeonCBBPodcast @GaryParrishCBS @MattNorlander @Kyle_Boone @DavidWCobb @NataTheScribe»You can listen to us on your smart speakers!
