It’s March and the Boom Bap Radio Crew of J-Crush, Angry Engineer, C.O., and Masta Talka are joined by Prof. Al Smith of the UK for International Women’s History Month. It’s Ladies First as the crew take the high road and chat about the crisis in the Ukraine, Right wing nut jobs at CPAC; that douche bag Blade Runner, Pharrell’s hat, upskirting; the historic win for 12 Years A Slave as “Picture of the Year” and the Oscar won by beautiful Lupita Nyong’o for best supporting actress. The panel also celebrates the accomplishments of the many, many funky female MC’s of the past. Salt'N’Pepa , Bahamadia, Yo Yo; Da Brat; Foxy Brown, MC Lyte and of course Queen Latifah strut their respective stuff during this annual BBR tradition.
