Here we are... A new year and a new decade. Have you locked in your New Year Resolutions yet? This is a time where many of us look towards new beginnings and fresh starts. It's refreshing. I personally love New Year. not so much as a launching pad for starting new things, but for checking on the progress of the ambitious goals I set for myself. Just think about it... Where will you be exactly 12 months from now? How much would you have grown between now and then? Sure, the New Year can signify the beginning of something great. However, much like the rings on the inside of a tree representing each year of growth, New Year can serve as the ultimate checkpoint to gauging our growth. It's a reminder to keep going. A reminder that we are being measured. Not in terms of value or accomplishments, but in terms of fulfillment and joy. I hope you are a completely different person today than who you were 12 months ago. I also hope the person you are 12 months from now is a stranger compared to today's version. Nothing wrong with who you are now. You are valued, loved and enough. But Just imagine the person you could become if you continued to grow the way you have done so already. The clock starts now.
