Happy Tuesday, everyone, and welcome to The Daily with Sil Stein on Anchor. I have a few announcements, very important ones, so I wanted to go ahead and do the podcast, a short announcement podcast today, and hopefully have a show for you guys tomorrow and Thursday, hopefully Friday as well. But to start off with, I will begin the podcast with letting you know that I'm working on my thriller, Battered Mind. I'll be doing a show about that on tomorrow's show.
It'll be covering about, you know, my start, you know, what I've been working on, and hopefully talk about working on releasing the date and how I went about the novel and try to try to talk to you on a one-on-one about the development of the story. I'm not going to give it away, but I'm going to share a little bit of excerpts on it and share a little bit of the characters and try to reflect on that on tomorrow's show. That's what I'm hoping to do. I know we usually do writing tips shows, and we're going to be going back to writing tips with Amy Peters, but for tomorrow, I'm going to dedicate the show about the process of writing this novel, this new novel, my thriller, and then reflecting back on my old books or stories that I worked on before, which were, you know, my current books I have, like Jason Clarity, Closure, The Diary of the Broken Father, and then maybe on Thursday, reflect back to the beginnings, and then what I hope, you know, hopefully, when I'll have this novel out.
I would like to share a one-on-one with you guys so you all could see the process of what it's like when you work on a book and what you're trying to say and, you know, and if anyone wants to call in to give their own, you know, insight on what they, you know, feel like when they start writing a book and what the process is for them, we can certainly do that also after I'm done discussing about the process on this novel that I've been working on. For today, I've been writing. I've been working on my playlist, trying to, you know, show the darker sides of the characters. I've been listening to a lot of the band, music from the band Korn.
They seem to have these numbers that are really, really influential to what I'm trying to write in the story because this is a kind of like a darker thriller. It is a departure from the books I've done. Closure was a little, you know, the subject matter was very deep. Thriller takes it, sorry, Battered Mind, this thriller, takes it to another level, and I would like to, you know, take the reader on this journey of this character that I'm creating, and hopefully have more to tell you all tomorrow.
So I hope to do that and then maybe do a Q&A on Instagram or Twitter. I don't know yet, sometime in February or March, and then take it from there. But I just wanted to give you all an update of what I've been working on for the Daily with Celeste Stein on Anchor. I still hope to bring you author news and also editors on editing and other stuff and book recommendations and everything.
