As we continue celebrating Veterans Day this weekend, get in touch with your veteran friends to find out what they've been up to. Maybe you can connect them with a Texas Veterans Commission service they can really use, like a Hazlewood expert, Career Advisor, or Claims Benefit Advisor. Find our Services Here. On this show we have kids explaining Veterans Day, some satified TVC claims customers, and the Fund for Veterans' Assistance application deadline is December 5. Apply Here NOW!  It takes a while to fill out that paperwork. The application is all online. We award grants to nonprofits who then directly assist the veterans.  We talked with a couple of our granteees, Goodwill of Central Texas and Meals for Vets.
