Abbey Holmes is a staple of Australian sports broadcasting as a commentator and boundary rider for the AFL and AFLW. Prior to her media career, Abbey played AFLW for the Adelaide Crows, and was the first woman to score 100 goals in a season playing for the Waratahs in the Northern Territory Football League. If that wasn’t impressive enough, Abbey has also competed on Australian Survivor (twice!) and SAS Australia.  In this conversation Abbey shares her incredible story of perseverance, hard work, and never taking no for an answer.
