Hardy Out Mizzou Backfield in Flux

Mizzou’s backfield is in flux after Ahmad Hardy’s May shooting, with his return uncertain despite progress in rehab. The Tigers need to replace his 1,600-yard, 16-touchdown output, turning to Jamal Roberts—the most proven option, who averaged over six yards per carry but never carried the full SEC load. New transfers Xai’Shaun Edwards (1,000-yard FCS standout) and Malae Fonoti (big, physical presence) offer depth, while true freshman Max Warner remains a long-shot unless injuries strike. The coaching staff’s track record suggests they’ll find a way to make it work—even without Hardy. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
