"Harriet" (Episode 9)

HARRIET is front and center this week on STEP AND REPEAT. Cynthia Erivo is going for gold in the Harriet Tubman biopic and we talk about her chances of completing the EGOT this year. We also dive into biopic tropes, never-ending singing, and Taylor Swift's bf. Also on the docket this week are TERMINATOR: DARK FATE and THE KING. We briefly cover each movie and why they did or didn't work. STEP AND REPEAT is a weekly movie and awards season podcast where your co-hosts Andrew and Matt cover the big news in the movie world and share their reviews of new releases. 00:01 :: HARRIET Trailer 00:16 :: Welcome / TERMINATOR: DARK FATE Discussion 13:32 :: THE KING Discussion 29:14 :: HARRIET Discussion 49:43 :: Oscar Revisionist History FACEBOOK - https://www.facebook.com/Step-and-Repeat-Podcast-104672387590106/ TWITTER - https://twitter.com/RepeatStepPod GMAIL - [email protected] "Harriet" Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqoEs4cG6Uw "Harriet" IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4648786/ Andrew's Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/ashine/
