Harriet Miers withdrew this morning as a nominee for the Supreme Court, and I think that is a very good thing. The fact that she was unwilling to be open and let Americans know who she is and what she is about is not in the best interest of this country. This is a government of the people and by the people, and if you are not willing to tell us who you are you just don't belong in that position.
