Harrison Stays at Left Tackle | Jacksonville Jaguars News
from Jacksonville Jaguars News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
The Jaguars are locking in Anton Harrison at left tackle after he dominated camp there, stepping in for the injured Cole Van Lanen. Though Harrison spent his first three NFL seasons mostly at right tackle, he’s a natural fit on the left side — even more comfortable there, according to GM James Gladstone. Harrison actually started 23 games at left tackle in college at Oklahoma, making the switch feel less like a gamble and more like a return to form. With Van Lanen expected back at right tackle once cleared, Harrison’s move was partly circumstance — but it’s working. The coaching staff is now focused on Harrison anchoring the left side while others rotate through the rest of the line.
