Hello, welcome back to another episode of Broken Record. My name is Ellie, and I'm your host, and today I'm just going to do a quick little episode talking about Harry Weed, which is a like kind of mini-series of Halloween concerts that Harry Styles has been on this past weekend for Halloween. I don't know. So it took place in Madison Square Garden, and Harry, like the concert was advertised as a fancy dress party, so everyone came in costumes, which was super fun.

There was, I was looking at pictures online, and there were people who like dressed up as Harry, they dressed up as songs from the album, they dressed up as other famous singers, they dressed up as movie characters, TV show characters, like there was a whole variety, and it was so cool. And everyone really went like all out, like people put a lot of effort into these costumes, and they're very like cool to see. And so the first, there was two shows, were like Dorothy and like the Wizard of Oz crew, which was super cool. Harry dressed up as Dorothy, and he had a fun little dress, and he had boots that were like painted to look like the like glittery red slippers that Dorothy wears, but they were like boots, and so it was kind of weird, but kind of cool.

And so Harry was obviously Dorothy, and then his crew, his like fanates were the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, the Bad Witch, who I'm forgetting her name, the Good Witch, who I believe his name is Belinda, the Tin Man, and the Ways, which were so cool. And all of their outfits were custom Gucci too. Like, that's so cool. Can you imagine getting a custom Gucci costume for a concert?

Like, that's so cool. That's so cool. Oh my gosh. And so Harry played almost all of his songs that he's playing.

So Harry Styles is currently on tour right now. It's called Love on Tour. And so he obviously has a set list for that tour that he plays every night. And he played, he didn't play all the songs from that, but he played most of them.

I think he didn't play, I believe, Sunflower, Volume 6, and Woman, but I'm not. I forget. I know he didn't play Woman on Night 2, but I forget if he played on Night 1 or not. And then since this, and Harry Ween was kind of like a different like part of Love on Tour, so he had a different stage setup, which was interesting.

In Love on Tour, it's like, I'll get more into this in a future episode, but it's like, he was like performing in the rounds, like the stage is like in the center of the stadium or the venue or whatever, and then people are standing all around him. But like his stage setup, or Harry Ween was more of like a traditional concert setup, where it's just like one stage on the one side of the room, and then there's like one GA pit. I don't know, I don't know how to explain it, but like if you think of a concert and like you think of a GA pit, that's what it looks like. And then Night 2, Harry dressed up as Perio the Clown, I don't know how to pronounce it, but it's P-I-E-R-R-O-T.

And he dressed up as Perio the Clown, and then all his bandmates were like other clowns too. And that was also custom Gucci, which was so cool. Like, that's crazy, that's crazy. Harry Styles is like really, he's known for like wearing Gucci and like wearing like a bunch of designer clothes, but like he's getting custom costumes.

That's so cool, that's so cool, I want custom costumes. Yeah, and so Night 2 was a whole big show, it was so cool. He sang Medicine, which is one of his unreleased songs, that like he only sings live, and he hasn't sang it at all during Love on Tour, his current tour that he's going on, but he sang it on his last tour, which was called Live on Tour. So this was the first time, I think I saw someone say this is the first time he's performed it in I think three years, four years maybe?

I don't know, I forget the exact number, but I know it was a long time. And he also sang Toxic by Britney Spears, which is awesome. I wish I could have heard that live, because I'm sure it was great. And yeah, it was Halloween, it was on Sunday night, there was, I don't know if you saw this clip or maybe you didn't, but there's a clip going around the internet of a like boxing match, I think or something, that was going on in Madison Square Garden the same night that Halloween was going on, and there's a video of like the like setup like shaking, like I don't know what it was, it was like a chandelier or something, but it's not a chandelier because it's a boxing match, but there was something that was like hanging from the ceiling that was literally shaking, because it was below where the concert was, and like I guess everyone was jumping around or something, and so like the floor was shaking, I don't know, but the commentators were saying that like it felt like an earthquake, and they're scared, and like can you imagine hosting a concert, and it being like, and everyone being so hyped up that you, that like you literally shake the floor, and like you just serve other events going on, like that's crazy, that must feel really good, I mean I'd feel bad if like I was distracting another event, but like that'd be so cool, but like I don't know, people like your music so much, so they're jumping around and literally like distracting other like events, I mean it's not good to distract other events, but you know what I'm saying, that like people really enjoy your music, okay, thank you for listening to this quick little episode about Halloween and the Halloween concert, I'm Ellie, I'm hosting Broken Record, I host every Tuesday at 6, um you can find me on Spotify or any other podcast streaming platform, just search up PayMyH Broken Record and you'll find me, and yeah, I'm on here every Tuesday at 6, so make sure to tune in.
